I’m working on *drum roll* a membership and free Discord community centered around writing.

What!?!

What the heck is Discord?

It’s a nifty chat app popularized by gamers. It’s free. Speaking of free, let me establish that this will be a word you see often.

I’m not here to line my pockets with your money.

I’m here to help you establish a daily writing habit that transforms your life. You can’t put a price on that.

I plan to monetize this endeavor with memberships, services, and affiliate sales.

What does that mean?

You only pay for things if you want to. The goal here is not to sell you stuff, it’s that up there ^^^.

Really.

By empowering you as a writer, I’m giving the most valuable thing I have to offer.

It’s like the “give a man a fish vs. teaching him to fish” cliche.

Writing will permeate every aspect of your life. It’s powerful.

When you learn to read, it broadens your horizons exponentially. When you learn to write, you gain a skill that allows you to process what’s in your mind and heart and now you can express it!

So, how do I plan to “empower you as a writer”?

I’ve been writing professionally for 18 years. I have some experience worth sharing.

While this experience has taken me many years to acquire, I don’t automatically feel the need to put it in a course and slap a $$$$ price tag on it.

Had there been fewer gatekeepers in my world, I would be wealthy by now.

You don’t need another person telling you what to do, how to do it, and all the fancy skills and products you need to do it. There are thousands of others who will do that and charge you a premium.

If you are the type of person who only values what you pay for, they might serve you better.

I will never send you a link to my “sales funnel”.
